Un Chief Data Officer en una empresa es el responsable de la gestión de sus datos e información confidencial.
Desarrollará políticas de seguridad en la gestión y almacenamiento de los datos, manteniéndose actualizado de las novedades de regulación que marca la Unión Europea.
Funciones de un Chief Data Officer: Desarrollar la estrategia general de gestión de datos en la empresa, aportando la hoja de ruta para la administración de datos del negocio.
Coordinar e implementar estrategias que respalden los planes de desarrollo del negocio.
Supervisar el desarrollo de nuevas capacidades de análisis de datos en la empresa y gestionar el análisis de datos integrales.
Identificar nuevas oportunidades de negocio basadas en los datos existentes.
Procurar que los datos y la información sean accesibles para todos los departamentos y el personal de toda la empresa.
Regular y supervisar cómo la empresa captura, mantiene y presenta datos e información a nivel global para medir el rendimiento de cada departamento.
Administrar el ciclo de vida de los datos y la información para cumplir con los requisitos de la empresa.
Definir e impulsar todas las iniciativas de análisis e inteligencia comercial (segmentación de clientes, analítica predictiva, etc.).

Perfil Recomendable: Formación Universitaria en Ingeniería Informática, Telecomunicaciones o Matemáticas.
Valorable contar con un postgrado especializado.
Amplios conocimientos en minería, tratamiento y análisis de datos, así como de aplicaciones y bases de datos relacionados.
Experiencia sólida de más de 7 años en posiciones de responsabilidad en Analítica de Datos.
Profesional con visión global y estratégica de la empresa/negocio, capaz de inspirar una fuerte colaboración en una organización.
