ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.LugarBarcelonaWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORISGlobal is seeking an excellent and highly motivated post-doctoral fellow for an EDCTP funded project, EBO-PEP, focused on the improved management of potential future EBOLA outbreaks. The candidate will lead the economic evaluation of post-exposure prophylaxis added vaccination in high risk contacts.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONSPhD in economicsAt least 1 year experience in the economics of infectious diseasesSPECIFIC REQUIREMENTSExcellent writing skillsExcellent econometrics skillsStrong motivation towards infectious diseases in low-income settingsAvailability to travelKEY RESPONSIBILITIESConduct the economic evaluation of PEP with monoclonal antibodies added to vaccination in high-risk contacts; Participate in all consortium meetings online or face-to-faceContribute to the management of the economic working packagePrepare presentations and present interim results in consortium meetingsWrite the required reports as well as the final manuscripts for peer review publicationThe post holder will adhere to ISGlobal principles contained in People management policy, including Equity, diversity and health safety.
