In our Applied Engineering division, we are an integral part of the design & development process for our high-performance customers including Formula 1, Motorsport and Automotive. From the initial stages of blank sheet designs to the final production, we assume ownership with a relentless commitment to bringing our clients' visions to life. We contribute across all areas of engineering and in multiple different specialisms including composite & materials, bodywork, aero & structural, powertrain, and tooling.
In our Electrification division, we specialize in R&D of state of the art of battery systems. Taking projects from initial concepts to production: we are designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing the next generation of high-performance batteries to innovative projects for multiple industries. We aim to generate a real impact on the future of electric mobility.

What You Will Do Develop software solutions for Hardware in the Loop (HiL), ensuring the SW development fulfils requirements to meet high performance and reliability expectations.Execute and report automated tests and provide feedback to the design team.Collaborate with hardware and mechanical engineering teams to develop complex setups for the Hardware in the Loop validations.Implement algorithms and control strategies to integrate our Simulink cell models in the hardware in the loop.Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into test cases.Ensure compliance with automotive standards and regulations for battery management and safety.Perform system analysis and provide recommendations for software and hardware improvements to enhance battery performance and efficiency based on test results.Stay up to date with the latest advancements in battery technology testing, software testing methodologies, and industry trends.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster innovation, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the company's technical roadmap.Be part of SW team in charge of the validation and testing as part of Software development.What You Need to Succeed Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field3+ years in automotive software testing engineering.Proven experience in real time libraries in Simulink.Proficiency in C, Matlab, SimulinkExperience with software development tools and version control systems (Git, GitHub, etc.)Experience with automated software testing, including unitary, integration and qualification verification.Familiarity with Speedgoat devices.Familiarity with electric vehicle (EV) technology.Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, or Ethernet.Experience in Model Base Desing with MATLAB .Familiarity with control algorithms in the electrification industry.Experience in Software Requirements definition.Experience in ISO26262.Experience with ASPICE.What BOLD offers you Private Health insurance (company level plan): Access to Sanitas plan at a reduced employee cost (for employees, spouse, or children)Regular events and team-building activitiesOur Values Customer Obsession – be accountable, be communicative, be unforgettableOwnership – be engaged, be passionate, be committed, be reliableIntegrity – be inspiring, be trustworthy, be supportive, be compassionateBoldness – be innovative, be confident, be fearless, be resilient, be authenticExcellence – be the best, be relentless, positive, be humbleDiversity & Inclusion At Bold Valuable Technologies, we consider our people our chief competitive advantage and as such we treat colleagues, candidates, clients, and business partners with equality, fairness, and respect, regardless of their age, disability, race, religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, marital status or family circumstances.
