.Tax CoE process Expert (indirect tax)Join our Global Business Services (GBS) team as a Global Indirect Tax process expert and become a pivotal part of our Tax Center of Excellence (CoE). In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of tax operations within a leading international company. Your mission will be to spearhead transformative changes in tax determination, ensuring compliance and efficiency across our global invoice processes.As a strategic partner, you will offer expert guidance to stakeholders, utilizing your tax acumen and IT savvy to deliver unique solutions. Your proactive mindset will lead the charge in continuous process enhancements, where your ability to leverage automation and data analytics will drive impactful advancements.Your responsibilities will include championing process improvements, collaborating with the Global Process Owner (GPO) organization to implement significant changes, and developing comprehensive training programs to support these initiatives. You will also play a critical role in GPO projects, influencing the design and rollout of global processes in the area of indirect taxes.We are seeking an individual with a B/BS/MBA in Accounting and/or Tax, ideally combined with IT knowledge, and at least 4 years of relevant experience. Your advanced abilities to navigate ambiguity, lead change, and foster collaboration without borders will be key to your success. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential, as is fluency in English (German is a plus).If you are customer-oriented, possess strong tax judgment, and are eager to transform digital technologies into efficient processes, we want you on our team. Embrace the opportunity to make a global impact and elevate our tax operations to new heights as our Global Indirect Tax process expertYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Operative analysis and resolution of specific issues in tax determination within ECC and S4 environments, ensuring compliance with new tax law changes.Consulting on new and existing business scenarios related to tax determination, including the provision of expert support to stakeholders for content, ERP, and process-related inquiries.Maintenance and updating of relevant tax determination tables in ECC and S4 systems in response to regulatory changes or business needs.Designing and consulting on tax determination scenarios in a country-specific context, including the correct mapping of tax codes to country-specific reporting boxes to ensure indirect tax compliance.Translating business requirements into effective tax determination configurations and making necessary adjustments for outgoing invoices.Leading and participating in projects to consult on new business scenarios, models, and global process implementations in indirect taxes area
