Responsibilities Financial reporting : Oversee the entire financial reporting process, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial statements according to IFRS and local regulations.
Financial planning and analysis : Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and forecasts, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making across the Group.
Lead and manage : Build and lead the controlling finance team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Performance management : Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance and measure progress against strategic goals.
Internal controls : Design and oversee a robust system of internal controls to ensure the safeguarding of assets, reliable financial reporting, and compliance with regulations.
Risk management : Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks, developing and implementing risk management strategies.
Project management : Lead and manage key financial control projects, ensuring successful implementation and achievement of desired outcomes.
Relationship management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business unit leaders, senior management, and external auditors.
Requirements Education : Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification highly desirable.
Experience : 10+ years of experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within the fashion or retail industry.
Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, financial modeling expertise, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, and proven track record of success in implementing financial control initiatives.
Languages : Fluent in Spanish and English.
Personal qualities : Strong leadership, strategic thinking, integrity, decisiveness, and excellent interpersonal skills.
