They design, develop, and launch credit products across the globe. The team manages our products from day one to the end — developing the back and front-end, the data science infrastructure, and then creating a local setup in each country with scalable risk management and portfolio management solutions. It's a big job, but our people are a credit to us all.We're looking for a Head of Commercial Real Estate Lending ("CRE Lending") to drive the launch of the business within Revolut. This role would fit well with an experienced banker or private debt investor with relevant cross-border experience who has the ambition to lead a team and establish the unit from scratch.What you'll be doingSetting up the vision for the CRE lending business from scratchCreating and owning the entire strategy, including where we operate, what areas we focus on, how we sell, how we stand out, etc.Attracting, hiring, motivating, and developing a CRE Lending teamEstablishing all processes, procedures, and governance required to run the businessEstablishing reliable and reputable third-party partnershipsEnsuring zero tolerance of any compliance issues or breach of regulatory requirementsWhat you'll need8+ years of experience in CRE lending in a bank or a private debt fundDeep knowledge of and relationships in the EU and UK mid-sized CRE lending industryGreat interpersonal and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with stakeholdersA detail-oriented, analytical mindsetThe ability to lead a team and build partnerships with other functionsTo be comfortable with and enjoy taking ownershipA passion for building new processes and challenging the status quoBuilding a global financial super app isn't enough.
