Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a ProcurementGlobal Category Manager - Global Professional Services(e.G., All types of Consulting services e.G., IT/R&D/Management Consulting Services, Outsourcing and BPO) in ourBarcelona or Budapest location .The Global Category Manager will have to lead/ manage a global team located in differentRegions, must drive/ manage the entire end to end sourcing process within the categoryscope and must deliver on strategic projects to effectively deliver high performance,efficiencies, and customer satisfaction for Schneider Electric stakeholders in support of theirbusiness needs.What will you do?You will report to the Global Category Director in the Global IT-Telco team.
You will be lead/be a part of a global procurement community (team members in North America, Europe, andAsia) and interact with stakeholders/suppliers all across the globe.Strategic Sourcing :Anticipate, collect, understand, and help to formalize the business requirements withvarious stakeholders in all BU organizations.Assess the technology vendor market to determine the best options and sources ofsupply for SchneiderLead RFPs, negotiation, supplier selection in close collaboration with stakeholders tomeet their business needsLead contract negotiation, approval, and signature for large-scale, enterprise-wideglobal agreements, in alignment with Group legal and compliance requirements andpoliciesDemonstrates project management expertise with the ability to carry strategicsourcing projects from strategic planning through implementation.Category management and Supplier relationship management:Analyse and optimize a portfolio of Professional services to continuously optimize cost and operational efficiencies for Schneider ElectricBe accountable for delivering productivity/savings in his / her scope, based on strong collaboration with stakeholders (functional management)Proactively manage his/her supplier panel, evaluate performance, risk, and innovation, in alignment with the category strategyPrepare and lead Business Reviews with strategic suppliersStakeholder management within framework of a global program for Professional services :Drive adoption to a global program of recommended vendors established at global level for IT / R&D and management consulting servicesSupport and drive change within all parties involved to ensure most business needs are met within the ProgramLead governance meetings to ensure continuous improvement within the established program (program adoption, stakeholder satisfaction, recommended supplier performance, etc.
)What qualifications will make you successful?6-8 years of relevant experience in sourcing Professional services in a global environmentExcellent sourcing & negotiation skills (contractual and commercial negotiation, supplier management, should-cost analysis, sourcing methods & tools)Good understanding and experience in legal aspects associated with Professional services(Intellectual property, Personal data, cybersecurity, DPA etc.
)Ability to influence & convince, Networking skillsRelevant experience in project management in a global environment, including changemanagementSubject matter expertise on Professional services market trendsCommunication, collaboration, and functional leadership skillsAbility to deal with sensitive topics and exposure to executive leaders in a global environmentResult oriented, dynamic, self-driven, team playerAbility to use e-sourcing and data analytics toolsData driven to leverage data analytics, data visualization and data presentation for strategic analysis of category/spend portfolio and supplier panel.Fluent in English (written and verbal): mandatoryStrategic sourcing experienceBachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred)Let us learn about you
