Job Description - Application Owner Digital Workplace Products (MER0003H9Q) Description Digital workplace is a central team at MBAG shaping the future of digitalisation for almost 200,000 users worldwide using standardized Windows OS.
The goal is to deliver central standardized products with flexibility to be used in all 3 regions (EMEA, APAC, AMERICAS) within dozens of countries and different businesses.
There are central applications like Adobe Reader, Trellis encryption software, or Java that build a common basis used by all users.
The main job of the application owner for those applications is to coordinate demand for such software and provide global standards on how those applications should be configured, packaged, rolled out & updated (Release / Change / Configuration Management).
This includes providing support & consulting (Incident & Problem Management), clarifying financials (e.g., licenses) & internal billing process (Financial Management), and communicating with all relevant internal and external stakeholders & users - if required, consult with workers councils.
Education: Graduate or postgraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Several years' professional experience in computer science.Experience with MS Windows, .NET Platform, Active Directory / Azure.Experience with SCCM/Intune platform.Experience with products like Adobe Reader.Experience in managing cross-departmental IT projects and managing IT suppliers.Experience in preparing strategic decisions and target group-oriented communication at all management levels.Languages: - German (is a plus)
Specific Know-How: Good conflict management skills with strong customer orientation.Customer orientation and organisational skills including time management and planning.Ability to identify and implement alternative process management solutions.Ability to link policies, projects, and operations.ITIL V3 knowledge.Knowledge about .NET development is helpful.Knowledge of Agile Project Management Methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).Scrum product owner certification is an advantage.Presentation and communication skills.Main Tasks: Internal coordination with business (10%)Decision on how applications should be configured, packaged, rolled out & updated (Release / Change / Configuration Management) (50%)Support & consulting (Incident & Problem Management) (15%)Clarifying financials (e.g., licenses) & internal billing process (Financial Management) (10%)Communication to all relevant internal and external stakeholders & users (15%)Communication Relationships: Business Partners: Provide best solution for BP needs and great BP experience from requirement to implementation with End2End responsibility for the product; ensure and measure BP satisfaction (constantly)MB Service Providers (esp.
