For us diversity is a real value, and we encourage in connecting different perspectives with respect.Discover more about our culture and approach here: Job Description Summary:We are looking for a Solar PV Engineer to be based in either Edinburgh, Madrid or Lisbon, who will support the delivery of Nadara's solar projects in Europe. Our projects range from site identification and resource assessment through to contracting and construction.Job Description:Main ResponsibilitiesManagement and production of internal and final solar energy resource assessment reports;Solar farm design and energy optimization, including curtailment estimates of hybridizations;Management of design of site-specific measurement campaigns, defining the most cost-time-reliability effective measurement technology;Direct or indirect management of the installation, maintenance and decommissioning of temporary meteorological masts, remote sensing units, and solar measurement stations including their data management;Development of statistical tools to estimate long-term energy production of solar farms in operation as well as analysis of power curve performance through SCADA data;Analysis of solar climatic data.Key Requirements:Degree in Engineering or Related Field5+ years experience of development, design and construction phases of solar and PV farmsExperience in solar energy calculationsProficient in the use of energy calculation software for SolarPragmatic and creative problem solvingExperience with working with GIS (QGIS, ArcGIS, Mapinfo, etc)Energy calculation report review, including data QA/QC of solar dataExperience in Remote Monitoring DevicesExcellent communication skills (internal and external stakeholders and partners, technical and non-technical)Capacity to work in an international teamLocation:EdinburghTime Type:Full timeWorker Subtype:RegularSummaryLocation: Edinburgh; Lisbona; MadridType: Full time
