What are we looking for? We are looking for a PMO Governance Lead working closely with one of our main clients in the banking sector.
Main tasks and accountabilities will be: The PMO Governance Lead is a strategic role responsible for managing the BAU and day-to-day project management office's governance processes/systems to ensure that projects are executed in alignment with the organisation's goals, standards, and best practices. As a technical specialist, the role holder will implement and maintain project management methodologies, processes, and policies, providing governance leadership across the team and organisation, as well as managing and supporting project managers and stakeholders.
What UST expects from you?
Proven experience in banking.
Proven experience E2E in project management and PMO roles, including in the following areas: IT Governance, IT audit, security design.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in project management and governance.
Strategic mindset with the ability to align project activities with organisational goals.
Very good knowledge of Office Tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
Team Management.
Strong PMO skills & experience (PM governance, meeting minutes, Managing RAID Log, Financial tracking).
5+ years of experience working as PMO Governance Lead.
Nice to have: Master's degree or relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, PMI RMP, etc.) preferred including one or more certifications in PMI, Prince2, SAP Activate, Scrum or other project management methodologies.
Good English level (B2-C1) you will be working with international teams.
Valuable and desirable: being entitled to a Disability Certificate (at least 33% score).
Work Location: 100% remote within Spain.
Work schedule: Business Hours. No intensive working days for Friday or summer.
