.Business Operations Senior Planning Specialist page is loaded Business Operations Senior Planning Specialist Apply locations Madrid Nice time type Full time posted on Posted 16 Days Ago job requisition id R19849 Job TitleBusiness Operations Senior Planning Specialist Summary of the role:The newcomer will be joining the team which builds and monitor the Business Operational planning in the division, preparing the forecast per portfolio and department together with the area leads, and will provide the needed reporting in order to facilitate management decision making and optimum organizational functioning. In this role the joiner will also support the team in the process improvement and changes on going in the department.In this role you will:Collect and consolidate inputs/assumptions and construct the yearly budget and quarterly forecastMonitor and track budget evolutions for specific areasProvide regular management reports and dashboards including cost and resource consumption figuresIdentify risk and opportunities to optimize the division resources allocationPrepare ad-hoc analysis for product, service and project managers (budget consumption, cost structure, Epic progress)Document and maintain guidelines for project and product managers to monitor their budget in the existing and new processes and toolsAbout the ideal candidate:University degree in Finance & Administration or Technology Management1-3 years' experience in finance or business planning roles in the IT industryBasic understanding of Amadeus.Fair understanding of Technology costs and project management methodologiesSAFe agile methodology knowledge as a plusMicrosoft basics: excel, power point, words; Power BI or Qlik knowledge will be usefulProficiency in English (verbal and written)Project & Portfolio Management, SAFe, Financial PlanningWorking at Amadeus, you will find:A critical mission and purpose - At Amadeus, you will be powering the future of travel and pursuing a critical mission and extraordinary purpose.A truly global DNA - Everything at Amadeus is global, from our people to our business, which translates into our footprint, processes, and culture.Great opportunities to learn - Learning happens all the time and in many ways at Amadeus, through on-the-job training, formal learning activities, and day-to-day interactions with colleagues.A caring environment - Amadeus fosters a caring environment, nurturing both a fulfilling career and personal and family life.
