The Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) offers a position for a researcher within the Cardiovascular Diseases Research group.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Technical Researcher to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to develop and validate image analysis codes for advanced analysis as part of the Cheap Heart project, an innovative research project.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Biomedical Engineering or related fields
Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Knowledge of TensorFlow, Pandas
Experience in cardiovascular imaging
Experience programming in Matlab and Python
Experience in data analysis
Main responsibilities and duties:
Research in cardiovascular image analysis, with specific focus on cardiac ultrasound
Development of purpose-specific image analysis codes
Scientific report of results (abstracts, research manuscripts)
Maintaining a strict collaboration with engineers and clinical researchers of the cardiovascular imaging unit
Statistical analysis
Labour conditions:
Full-time position: 40h/week.
Gross annual salary: 21,919.25 euros (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
