Positioned in the charismatic old artisan quarter of El Born, the Miiro Borneta Hotel invites you to discover the charms of the Ciutat Vella. ********* Key Responsibilities: • Guest Service: Provide outstanding service to guests, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations. Greet and seat guests, present menus, and provide detailed information on menu items and specials. • Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring any dietary restrictions or special requests are communicated to the kitchen and bar staff. • Serving: Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring presentation standards are met. • Payment Processing: Handle guest payments, issue receipts, and provide accurate change. Ensure proper use of POS systems. • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and other restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and a seamless dining experience for guests. • Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating to the manager when necessary. • Procedure Compliance: Complete all relevant procedures and paperwork related to the Food & Beverage department as required by the company. • Work Culture: Contribute to a positive work environment that supports our Miiro values, including respect, teamwork, and excellence. Requirements: • Proven experience as a waiter or in a similar role. • Fluency in Spanish and English. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of service. • Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and basic math skills for handling payments. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • A friendly and professional demeanor, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience in a high-end or busy restaurant setting. • Knowledge of food and beverage pairings and service techniques.
