About the role: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & STRATEGY ANALYST (RENEWABLE ENERGY) Madrid.
Leading Renewable Energy Company (IPP), developer, owner and operator of green hydrogen projects and hydrogen derivatives including generation of renewable energy, production, transportation, storage and commercialization.
Mission: Reporting to Business Development he/she will be responsible for analyzing markets, identifying opportunities, and supporting the growth of renewable energy and green hydrogen portfolio.
This role will support the company's strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
Responsabilities: Research and analysis of markets, competitors, and regulatory trends to identify strategic growth opportunities in renewable energy (green hydrogen projects and hydrogen derivatives).
Evaluate and identify new project opportunities, partnerships, and M&A deals to expand the company's renewable energy portfolio.
Support the development of financial models to analyze project feasibility, economic returns, and risk scenarios.
Analyze potential projects and pipeline opportunities, including technical, economic, and risk assessments.
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
Work with internal teams (finance, technical, legal, and operations) to support project development and strategic initiatives.
Requirements (M/F/D): Master's degree in engineering, Business Administration Economics, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in business development, strategy, supporting financial analysis, or management consulting, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
Experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and feasibility assessments is highly valued.
Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence platforms.
Understanding of the renewable energy industry, including knowledge of IPP models, project financing, and M&A processes.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluency in English; other languages will be an advantage.
