We're looking for a Senior Accountant to providesupport to the financial department by managing and supervising the accountingand tax activities. Reporting to the local Head of Finance, you will work aspart of a Finance Team and collaborate with Group Controlling Department Responsibilities Ensuring the integrity of accounting information.Coordination and execution of the day-to-dayaccounting activities and accounts reconciliation to ensure that financialrecords are accurate by reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, andresolving issues.Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet andgeneral ledger accountsPerforming month-end and year-end closeprocesses.Support on AP AR , performing supplierinvoice validation and cancellation control in coordination with Shared ServiceCenter team.Ensure compliance with Spanish tax regulations,managing the indirect tax filings timely and meet all local compliancerequirements.Preparing monthly accounting analyses andreports.Design, document, implement, and execute internalcontrols to ensure transactions and balances are accurately reported.Assisting with annual audit preparations, providingnecessary documentation and addressing audit findings.Ensure acceptablelevels of internal and external controls are compliance with all group andlocal regulations.Develop best practice financial accounting and control proceduresand continually review the process and procedures to maximize impact andefficiency.Requirements /profile:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business,or related field.Proven experience as a Senior Accountant / ChiefAccountant at least 5 years.In-depth knowledge of Spanish accounting and taxlaws. Knowledgeof IFRS GAAP.Excellent knowledge of MS EXCEL.Fluent in English and Spanish.Strong organizational, analytical and planningskills.Experience in SAP ERP (nice-to-have).Result-oriented.Analytical skills and very well organized.
