.OverviewPost Date December 15, Number WEBWW-- Job Function Sales Location Barcelona Country Spain About the PositionJob SummaryThe Sales Application Specialist Acute Care Diagnostics (SAS ACDx) is a mixed figureincluding both sales and technical responsibilities, being his/her main job tasks to activelypromote and sell our products and solutions while keeping a good track on the technicalstatus of the instrumentation park, reagent stocks and IT solutions. He/she will have specialfocus on the Central Lab and Clinical Areas such as Intensive Care Units, EmergencyDepartments and Operating rooms.The SAS ACDx will provide our customers with solutions that adapt to their changing needs,creating a relationship of trust that will bring value to our customers and the Company inthe medium and long term.Key AccountabilitiesAchieve sales and commercial targets established by the Company.Provides application support.Supports laboratory organization improvement by technical advice and solutionoffering.Encourages cross-selling by providing product information and introducingcost/efficiency balanced tailored techniques.Be able to present our products and concepts to institutions, end-user groups,clinicians, and expert groups.Create a network of trust within the organization and organizes other colleagues infield visits.Coordination skills to organize instrument installations interacting with the differentdepartments involved (Logistics, Technical Service, Marketing...), as well as toperform product and service demonstrations.Can keep the training level of our user's analyzers and reagents and manageappropriate documentation.Be a team player that works together with the KAM and Business Unit in themanagement of opportunities and risks.Has a global point of view that allows him/her to check the service level offered bythe different departments of the Company assigned centers, therefore reducing therisk of complaints.Provides troubleshooting for technical enquiries.Solves product incidents at technical level in coordination with HelpLine, TechnicalService and Product Managers.Tender management (specification and profitability analysis, preparation of thenecessary documentation, litigation support).Provides first level (remote and/or on-site) of technical support to customer accountsregarding the products, applications and operations, assisting them with theintegration of systems in their laboratories.Ensures the Compliance with Ethical Code.Networking/Key relationshipsKey Account ManagerArea ManagerSales Application Specialists ManagerBusiness Unit (Business Unit Manager, Product Managers)Technical Support Team (Field Service Engineer, Helpline, Service Area Manager)Logistics (Customer Service)Contracting DepartmentQuality Assurance / Regulatory AffairsMinimum Knowledge & Experience required for the positionEducation:o Bachelor ´s Degree in Life Sciences or related discipline.Experience:Experience in IVD industry is also desirable
