Archer Daniels Midland – Valencia, Valencia We are hiring a Bioinformatic Technician for our Probiotics Plant in Paterna Valencia, España.
Job Purpose: Execute and implement bioinformatic pipelines to analyse data from Next Generation Sequencing.
Your Responsibilities: Follow the safety and health standards.
Execute internal bioinformatic pipelines to NGS analysis.
Implement new internal bioinformatic pipelines to NGS analysis.
Statistically analyse data coming from NGS studies.
Maintain updated both programs and databases.
Your Profile: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Sciences, and MSc degree in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology or similar.
Experience in: i) data science: Scripting (R, Python, etc), data analysis (data retrieving and manipulation from public repositories, building and analysis datasets) ii) statistical models and iii) reporting (latex, writing skills).
Valuable: Experience in microbiome data analysis and biostatistics.
Attitude: Concern for Quality, Integrity/Values, Diversity, Safety, Solving Problems, Proactive.
