This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile engineer to work on the Galileo project, the European space flagship programme. Galileo is Europe's Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), providing accurate positioning and timing information. It is funded and owned by the EU, developed by ESA and managed by EUSPA.CETRA BASE is currently looking for a Senior KMF (Key Management Facility) Engineer to be part of the Galileo L3 maintenance team.The position is based in Madrid (Spain).Tasks and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will carry out the Key Management Facility L3 maintenance tasks, as detailed hereafter:Anomalies analysis and troubleshootingAnalysis and testing of corrections to errors foundInstalling patches and configurationPreparation of test environmentsSW functional analysisTo provide Technical SupportEssential Qualifications and ExperienceUniversity degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer ScienceExperience in SW installationsExperience in anomaly investigationExcellent team workerEligible for security clearanceAvailability to travel within EuropeDesirableExperience in Galileo KMF (Key Management Facility)SecurityIn line with security requirements of the Galileo mission, the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state.
