Business & Relationship Management (BRM) is currently seeking a Market Research Associate based out of our London or Barcelona office. This exciting role will report to a senior team member in the EMEA Financial Institutions (FI) BRM team. The principal objective of the team is to originate new FI rating mandates through targeted outreach and client engagement and to manage and optimise existing relationships with FI issuers and other market participants. What We Offer: High visibility, working directly with senior management Collaboration on global projects Working together with global team members Inclusive and supportive team Opportunity to develop your research, marketing and presentation skills  Opportunity to develop within BRM & beyond We'll Count on You To: Research and validate new business opportunities, combining actionable market data from multiple sources Maintain and update data in Salesforce CRM data management system Prepare commercial agreements for new and existing issuers Contact external stakeholders, organise meetings and prepare appropriate background information as required Develop impactful presentations and other marketing materials What You Need to Have: Relevant university degree, preferably in a business, finance, economics, data analytics related field Strong Excel/data analytic skills (lookups/index/pivot tables/macros/formulae/shortcuts) What Would Make You Stand Out: Integrity, curiosity, willingness to learn and a positive attitude Self-starter with strong time management and first-class organisational and completion skills Ability to multi-task, adopt and respond to changing priorities Great interpersonal / communication skills Prior knowledge of CRM systems Debt Capital Markets experience/financial markets knowledge Additional language skills (notably French, Turkish, Swedish, Russian, German, but also others) Familiarity with financial data systems such as Bloomberg and FactSet.
