.The RoleThe successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team they will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and evaluation of programmes of care ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients. NHS Lanarkshire is comprised of Acute Services (which currently provide hospital based services over 3 main sites), Corporate & Property & Support Services, North and South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnerships which provide integrated primary healthcare and social care services to local communities and surrounding areas.What we'll need you to bringRegistered Nurse with valid UK NMC RegistrationEducated to/working towards/operating at Degree LevelPost graduate expertise within area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the area of practice.Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within area of practice.Leadership skills to enable the day to day management of service delivery.Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualificationThe post holder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiativeIt would be great if you also haveExtensive Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (CCL) experiencePrevious experience within an acute or critical care environmentPrevious management and leadership experienceComprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within cardiologySpecialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions and procedures associated with CCL, ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within CCLCommitment to on call serviceContract typePermanentPart Time30hoursPlease note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.LocationThis role will be based in Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory within University Hospital Hairmyres
