.Job Title: Senior Engineering Manager UIJob Description:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a team of skilled engineers. Your leadership will be key in guiding them to achieve their full potential while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.You will be at the forefront of our engineering projects, overseeing them from conception through to completion. This involves planning, managing, and driving projects, creating project timelines, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring that we meet deadlines and stay within budget.Key Responsibilities: Lead teams of engineers, ranging from graduate to senior, also contractors.Develop your engineering managers and maintain Sage culture.Hire staff level engineers for specific roles like performance and quality.Coach, mentor, and offer career development feedback.Identify and measure indicators of team health and productivity.Ensure rounded delivery including community participation and documentation.Implement disciplined engineering processes and defend them.Set and measure progress against benchmark goals for speed and efficiency.Represent your product to stakeholders, partners, and customers.Develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices.Plan and manage progress on agreed goals and projects.Be an active part of the leadership team, collaborating with other leaders.Collaborate with leads for related or dependent products.What You'll Bring To The Team: Proven track record of architecting and engineering world-class, large-scale enterprise or commercial applications and services.Experience with any framework: Vue, Angular, React.Experience leading teams of engineers in delivering high-quality software.Exceptional design, coding, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in one or more system-level programming languages (PHP, Java, Python, etc.) and a willingness to learn new ones.Experience working with cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.Deep understanding of data structures.Familiarity with modern engineering practices, including agile development, CI/CD, and DevOps.Proven track record of effectively collaborating with globally distributed teams.Outstanding teamwork and communication skills.What we offer: Attractive salary and Sage Bonus Plan.Health Plan for employee and dependents (only spouse and children) + dental package, + life insurance.Meal Vouchers.Sports Reimbursement.Library Access – Bookster.English classes.Sage University, Linkedin Learning, Pluralsight learning platforms.5 paid time off days per year for NGO activities
