We shape the digital landscape for our customers, readers, and users, providing a seamless and immersive experience across all touchpoints.About the Role:This role is within the Mobile Team, responsible for building next-generation mobile apps for premium Dow Jones brands. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will guide a team of engineers to enhance the efficiency of mobile-specific technical models across multiple product teams. You will lead efforts in modernizing legacy systems and integrating advanced technologies, including cloud services.You Will:Enhance team efficiency by driving initiatives and introducing new technologies.Translate business requirements into technical specifications and make informed decisions on technology adoption, infrastructure, and cost impacts.Document and communicate infrastructure and design decisions to both business and technical stakeholders.You Have:Six years of Android native Mobile development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.Familiarity with data structures, system design, design patterns, API designs, MVP or MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.A full stack background is a huge plus.
