Beschrijving
Proactief, bedrijfsgericht en kwalitatief hoogwaardig advies over veranderingen in wet- en regelgeving in de financiële sector met een focus op beleggingsdiensten (MiFID), duurzame financiering, kapitaalmarkt, distributie van financiële producten;
Advies over juridische documentatie en communicatie van klanten;
Nauwe en constructieve samenwerking met de business, klantenservice, compliance en het management over bestaande zaken en innovatieve projecten;
Deelname aan de bankenvereniging en aan lokale/internationale werkgroepen;
Juridische waakzaamheid en proactieve informatie aan het team en de groep;
Contacten en opvolging van problemen met de Belgische toezichthoudende autoriteiten;
Effectieve implementatie van relevante strategieën binnen de gedefinieerde risicobereidheid en -tolerantie;
Beheer van rapporten over en escalatie van geïdentificeerde risico's.
Profile
Master in Belgisch recht met goede academische referenties;
Vloeiend in Nederlands of Frans en goede kennis van de andere taal; vloeiend in Engels;
Min. 5 jaar ervaring als jurist of juridisch adviseur in een bank;
Expertise op het gebied van retailbanking, consumentenmarktpraktijken, MiFID, duurzame financiering, distributie van kapitaalmarktproducten, goede kennis van UCITS, AIF's, PRIIPS, IDD;
Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om overtuigend om te gaan met medewerkers en managers op alle niveaus in de organisatie;
Autonoom, pragmatisch, georganiseerd, oplossingsgericht en een combinatie van creativiteit en rechtszekerheid;
In staat om uitdagende situaties met interne klanten en toezichthouders te beheren met behoud van een professionele aanpak om het probleem op te lossen;
In staat om goede relaties op te bouwen met de lokale toezichthouders.
