This position reports directly to the MRO & Ind. Mat. Pcrmt. Mgr.

How You Will Do It:

Functional objectives:

⢠Cost and time optimized purchasing of the requested goods and services

Main Tasks:

⢠Purchase contracts / scheduling agreement of goods & services under close supervision of the Purchasing Manager

⢠Develops a knowledge of purchasing procedures

⢠Support negotiation of prices and contracts

⢠Constant contact to suppliers / logistics and to plant

⢠Support implementation and continuous improvement of standardization activities / supplier bundling

⢠Support SITG (stake in the ground) to meet budget targets

⢠Administer / Support input and update of procurement system (SAP, E-Procurement system)

What We Look For

⢠Required qualifications

  • Commercial and/ or technical education.
  • Ideally Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of purchasing practices.
  • 0 - 3 years experience; some years in a professional purchasing or other industrial function preferable.
  • MS Office ( Advanced knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Spanish bilingual
  • English communication skills (B2-C1)
  • Your workplace will be either in Spain (Medina del Campo, Valladolid.)

⢠Preferred qualifications

  • SAP experience FI / CO
  • Strong communication skills to effectively disseminate process information
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to learn
