Orisha|Openbravo seeks an experienced IT professional to fill this critical role. The successful candidate will oversee the installation, configuration, and security hardening of Ubuntu servers running Apache Server and Apache Tomcat.
The selected individual will also be responsible for preparing machine images on AWS and Azure for server provisioning.
Key Responsibilities:- Define optimal configurations for Ubuntu, Apache Server, and Apache Tomcat to support Openbravo solutions
- Ensure Openbravo servers deliver optimal performance and provide adequate observability
- Enforce best security practices on Openbravo servers in compliance with ISO 27001
- Develop and evolve Packer processes for generating machine images on Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
- Support the Infrastructure and Cloud Evolution team in developing automated procedures for provisioning Ubuntu servers
- Must have 4 years of experience working with Ubuntu Linux (server) as a System Administrator or other Debian-based distributions
- Tomcat Application Server expertise
- Apache2 Server knowledge
- Java installation and configuration skills
- Curious and analytical mindset
- Able to research unknown topics
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to complete tasks independently
- Knowledgeable in:
- Operating System configuration
- Network configuration
- Monitoring systems for performance data collection and reporting
- Maintenance and security best practices
