Job Title: Java Software Engineer - Accommodation - (Hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer to join our Accommodation team at eDreams ODIGEO. This role is based in various locations in Spain and Italy, including Barcelona, Madrid, Alicante, Mallorca, and Milan.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop microservices with Java 17, Maven, Spring Boot, and more
  • Create scalable, high-quality distributed systems following best practices
  • Promote clean code, SOLID principles, and TDD within the team
  • Participate in all SDLC phases independently
  • Design innovative solutions for hotel booking processes
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, APIs, and architecture patterns
  • Experience with the full software development cycle and cloud environments
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in English and a mindset for continuous learning
Preferred:
  • Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT
  • Curiosity for AI-driven solutions and collaboration with AI tools
