Senior Java Software Engineer

We're seeking an experienced software engineer to drive the development of our Machine Learning platform. Our mission is to develop and operate the platform and infrastructure for ML models, collaborating closely with data scientists to run ML predictions in production.
About the Role:
As a senior Java software engineer, you will be responsible for working with technologies including Java 17, BigData tools, machine learning, and DataMesh in a cloud environment. You will challenge the status quo, bring new ideas, influence product development, and improve work processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and managing risks.
- Providing strategic technical guidance and improving code architecture.
What You Need to Succeed:
You should have senior engineer experience leading technical initiatives and guiding teams. Excellent communication skills are required to explain complex ideas to technical and business teams. A team-oriented mindset and proficiency in English are necessary for a multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT; curiosity and experimentation with AI-driven solutions; leveraging AI for debugging and productivity; adaptability to new AI features; collaborating with AI as pair programmers.
