Sales Manager Spain and Portugal

Mission

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for sales results in a given territory for a broad range of products serving the markets of commercial refrigeration throughout the high-performance HVAC sector. You will develop the Spanish and Portuguese market with the goal of increasing sales in the country and support driving specification & preference at Original Equipment Manufacturers and End Users.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop the Spanish and Portuguese market with the clear scope of sensitively increasing sales.
  2. Prepare yearly, quarterly, and monthly forecasts and SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) for customers.
  3. Meet KPIs along with revenue and gross profit (GP) targets.
  4. Promote, present, implement, and execute strategies and tactics necessary to meet revenue and account development/growth targets in the targeted region.
  5. Lead in the development and negotiation of commercial contracts.
  6. Maintain key customer relationships and develop strategies for expanding the company's customer base in the targeted region.
  7. Coordinate and supervise one collaborator responsible for customer service and pre-sales activities.
  8. Implement short-term and long-term plans to increase customer satisfaction.
  9. Travel 60% in the region with little travel across the EU.
  10. Work closely with Product Line Management to facilitate and acquire market data capture and voice of customers.

Knowledge and Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field; advanced degree preferred (MS Engineering, MBA).
  2. Technical and commercial background in the reference sector.
  3. Strong business & financial acumen with customer focus.
  4. Critical thinking skills to identify problem areas & potential solutions.
  5. Value-based selling approach.
  6. Market mapping and segmentation knowledge.
  7. 80/20 skills and approach.
  8. Proficient use of Office Automation tools for data analysis.
