Job Overview:
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in building and delivering high-quality software solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the product, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership and technical expertise will guide the team through the full development lifecycle and ensure timely and efficient delivery.

1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, helping them grow and succeed while ensuring high-performance levels.
2. Design and implement software solutions in collaboration with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
3. Take responsibility for the technical direction of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
4. Foster a culture of engineering excellence, continuous learning, and collaboration within the team.
5. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and encourage best practices in software development.
6. Develop and maintain development processes, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and scalable product development.
7. Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure integration and alignment across different parts of the technology stack.
8. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical challenges, ensuring high availability and performance of applications.
9. Manage and optimise the team's performance, ensuring timely delivery of projects while balancing quality and innovation.
10. Promote and implement Agile methodologies and ensure the team follows best practices for project management.
11. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, bringing new ideas to the team.

1. Proven experience (5+ years) as a Software Engineer, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
2. Strong experience in software development (preferably Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript) and modern software architecture.
3. Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
4. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience leading Agile teams.
5. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimisation skills.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Experience in scaling systems and working with large-scale applications.
8. A strong passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
9. Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).

1. Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.
2. Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
3. Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue) and full-stack development.
4. Experience with data processing frameworks (Apache Kafka, Spark, etc.).
