Job purpose :The Technical Project Manager is the solution specialist responsible for ensuring solutions are technically and functionally 'fit for purpose', designed, tested, and delivered according to the agreed timelines and Project Framework / Methodology. The solution owner collaborates with all internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to departmental objectives, best practices, and process improvements. The role involves participating in training and onboarding activities and being recognized as a proficient practitioner and subject matter expert in a specific solution, product, or industry customer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define, design, implement, and coordinate project / program solutions in line with the Project Framework / Methodology.
- Participate in or lead requirements and design workshops with international customers and service providers.
- Provide technical consulting on products and solutions to stakeholders.
- Share knowledge of product features and solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Produce project deliverables according to the Project Framework / Methodology.
- Support internal testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-user training.
- Ensure solutions comply with standards, strategy, and best practices.
- Monitor solution scope, cost, and risk.
- Contribute to departmental objectives and KPIs.
- Design, implement, and deliver solutions within timelines.
- Coordinate testing, quality assurance, and deployment across environments.
- Manage scope, cost, and risk of solutions.
- Communicate changes in scope, cost, risk, or schedule to the Project Manager.
- Assess impacts of change requests.
- Maintain high-level knowledge of solutions, products, and architecture.
- Contribute to departmental objectives, KPIs, and process improvements.
- Ability to read and analyze Java or similar object-oriented code.
- Strong knowledge of technical solutions and SaaS.
- Knowledge of Italian or other EU languages is an advantage.
- Excellent technical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in technical documentation and review.
- Mastery of project management tools and techniques.
- Organizational skills and savvy.
- Design, implement, and deliver solutions on time.
- Ensure solutions are fit for purpose according to requirements and design.
- Adhere to the Project Framework / Methodology.
- Achieve departmental objectives and KPIs.
