We are seeking a Travel Coordination Assistant to help with event booking in the German-speaking areas.

The Awesome Adventures Group manages several travel & event brands, with the most important being Pissup Tours. We are the industry's best reviewed Bachelor Party company and we have been organizing unforgettable party weekends all over Europe since 2001. The Awesome Adventures Group sends more than 50,000 customers a year to our more than 40 different destinations. We are a team of 18 full-time staff and around 100 part-time guides spread across Europe who work hard to provide amazing experiences to our clients.

The Job:

As Travel Coordination Assistant, you will be responsible for doing a lot of the booking work with our suppliers across 13 destinations in the DACH area. You will be checking up on everything being correctly booked with our suppliers and coordinating details with our sales team and directly with customers to make sure our groups get the service they have bought. You will work closely with the Destination Managers for this area. You will receive extensive training and will also be a part of an Operations Team of 9 people operating other destinations who can assist you as well. The position is a remote work / work-from-home position. The job is 40 hours per week on average. We provide a good fixed salary but also a significant bonus structure. The role comes with a lot of responsibility but also enjoys a lot of autonomy and self-management. The job fits very well for someone ambitious who wants to learn a lot in a short period of time, or someone looking to utilize their German skills to earn a good salary within a 7 month period - and possibly return for next season.

Main Tasks:

  • Check availability for requested events and make new reservations with suppliers via phone and email
  • Handle changes to existing reservations (long term and last minute)
  • Finalize bookings and communicate final booking details to customers
  • Communication with suppliers
  • Communication with the group leader during the trip
  • Communication with account manager colleagues regarding bookings and changes
  • Be on-call for emergency phone during weekends / nights (we can potentially organise shifts, so you are only on-call during some weekends - max. every 2nd weekend)
  • Ad hoc problem solving

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in German (min. C1)
  • Business level English
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Flexible and customer oriented approach
  • Be a great communicator, both with clients and internally
  • Be a fast learner of new IT systems
