Sales Director - Biogas & Biomethane Agri SectorMurcia

For a leading company in the biogas and biomethane for the Agricultural sector, we are looking for a Sales Director for the Spanish market. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying strategic partners, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the implementation of biogas and biomethane production plants in Spain.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Market Analysis and Regulatory Framework: Study Spanish regulations related to biogas and biomethane, with a focus on upcoming incentives. Identify the most favorable geographic areas for plant development, considering available feedstocks and their suitability for biomethane production. Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business strategies.
  2. Business Development and Partnerships: Identify and establish relationships with local clients and partners for plant development. Research reliable suppliers and collaborate with local companies for plant construction and maintenance. Support the transfer of equipment and technologies from Italy to Spain.
  3. Project Management and Operations: Identify clients willing to produce plants locally and coordinate the installation phases. Select and manage external contractors for the construction of structural and civil components of the plants.
  4. Strategic Development and Investments: Analyze market trends and potential growth opportunities in the sector of small-scale agricultural plants and large-scale centralized plants. Collaborate with local technical firms to obtain the necessary permits for plant development.
Required Skills
  1. Proven experience (8-10 years) in business development within the biogas/biomethane sector.
  2. In-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework or the ability to analyze it strategically.
  3. Strong technical expertise in managing biogas and biomethane plant projects.
  4. Excellent negotiation and business development skills.
  5. Established network of contacts in the Spanish energy and industrial sectors.
  6. Willingness to travel across Spain.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
  2. Previous experience in managing internationalization projects.
  3. Familiarity with government incentives and renewable energy development policies.
