As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Engine Programmer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.


Responsibilities
  1. Work on all aspects of engine development
  2. Write performant, robust and maintainable code
  3. Debug, profile and optimize code to hit quality and performance targets
  4. Contribute in code reviews, testing and documentation
  5. Show strong passion for making the highest quality state of the art games
  6. Be an active participant in the design and production of the engine
  7. Mentor and support team members
Requirements
  1. 3+ years game development experience
  2. Expert in C++
  3. Open-minded, willing to collaborate, experiment and iterate over a specific feature
  4. Upper-intermediate English
  5. Passion for making and playing great games
  6. Experience with data driven development
  7. Experience with a wide range of CPU and GPU profiling tools
  8. Multithreading should be second nature
  9. Knowledge of modern hardware
Nice to haves
  1. Bachelor / Master degree in computer science or software engineering
  2. Experience with modern graphics API's (Vulkan, D3D12, GNM, ...)
  3. Experience with modern console development (PS4/5, Xbox One/Series, ...)
  4. Experience with SIMD programming
  5. Experience with low-level x86/ARM/DXBC/Spir-V assembly
  6. Experience with networking / multiplayer
  7. Track record of major contributions to shipped games
