Ventós Group is an international company specialized in the distribution and production of Essential Oils & Aroma Chemicals with the Head Quarters located in Barcelona, Spain. Currently we need to reinforce our Biotech team by incorporating an R&D Scientist .
Lead and support fermentation processes, including enzyme production and microbial synthesis of target compounds.
Participate in scaling up bioenzymatic procedures from lab to production plant.
Contribute to the identification of new R&D opportunities and the writing of R&D&I project proposals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production and quality departments to ensure successful process implementation.
Degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Chemical Engineering
Fermentation techniques, both for enzyme and compound production
Scale-up of enzymatic procedures to pilot or industrial scale
Previous experience in project proposal writing is a plus
Autonomous and well-organized, strong scientific rigor with a results-oriented mindset, proactive, with excellent communication skills and team spirit
