Akens \ Nordburg is looking for a Software Developer (m/f) ETL & Data Integration for a German IT-solutions company to enlarge the Spanish based team. Our client is a well-known company in the German market with more than 50 years within the IT-industry.Location: 100% remote from SpainWe are looking for a Software Developer with experience in IT projects and advanced knowledge in Informatica PowerCenter. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, analytical skills and experience in the financial sector. This position is for a client in the financial sector (banking).RESPONSABILITIESDevelop, implement, and maintain IT solutions using Informatica PowerCenterDesign and optimise ETL processes in Oracle and SQL Server database environmentsProgram and automate tasks in Linux environments using shell scriptingApply programming language skills to the development of additional solutionsCollaborate with business analysts and other teams to understand and translate functional requirements into technical solutionsEnsure code quality and efficiency of developed softwareResearch and adopt new technologies to improve performance and functionality of systemsProvide technical support and troubleshooting of developed applicationsREQUIREMENTSUniversity degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.At least 5 years of experience in IT projects.At least 3 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter. Informatica Foundation or Professional Level certification a plusStrong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databasesLinux Shell programming experienceBasic knowledge in at least one programming languageExperience in business analysis is highly valuedExperience in the financial sector is a plusWillingness to learn new programming languages and technologiesGood level of English and GermanADDITIONAL SKILLSProblem solving and analytical thinking skillsTeamwork and effective communicationAdaptability and continuous learningBENEFITSOpportunities for professional growth and development within the companyFlexible work arrangements. 100% remoteDynamic and collaborative work environment
