You’ll need to be both strategic and execution-oriented – comfortable switching between high-level planning and day-to-day delivery. You’ll work closely with customers, engineers, the open-source community, and leadership to build strategy, scale the marketing team, prioritise work, and scale our impact.You’ll be building for developers, so a technical background is a big plus. This role is ideal for someone who has marketing experience growing a company at the $5-$30M ARR range by more than 2X, and wants to do it again.We are looking for someone with a passion for the dev tool space, who might want to start something in 5–10 years themselves. You’ll be someone who will help us continue to push the open source space to the next levelWhat You’ll DoDefine and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals and product roadmap.Build and manage the marketing function, processes, and team – from demand generation to brand and content.Own the marketing roadmap, ensuring all initiatives are directly tied to product milestones, launches, and customer needs.Partner with sales to build integrated campaigns and account-based marketing programs focused on our top 500 target accounts.Oversee all marketing channels, including content, email, webinars, podcasts, and partnerships – ensuring a cohesive brand narrative.Develop and optimise customer onboarding journeys and in-app conversion flows to maximise activation and adoption.Manage and report on the overall marketing budget, focusing on measurable impact and ROI.Lead thought leadership and community engagement efforts to position Flagsmith as a category leader in feature management and developer tooling.Partner closely with product, sales, and customer success to ensure marketing strategy supports GTM alignment and long-term customer growth.What You’ll BringBeyond core marketing expertise, we’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, data, and strategy:5+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, ideally within SaaS or developer tooling.Proven experience in product marketing, aligning go-to-market efforts with product development.Track record of executing data-driven demand generation programs tied to revenue outcomes.A track record of consistently generating qualified pipeline and hitting or exceeding opportunity and revenue targetsStrong technical fluency – able to engage credibly with engineering and product teams.Strategic thinker who can operate at both 10,000ft and ground level – crafting vision while delivering execution.Demonstrated success leading marketing that combines a sales-led motion with product-led growthExperience scaling companies at a similar phaseExperience managing and scaling partnerships and co-marketing programs.Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Based in Europe or willing to work European time zones.Nice to HavesExperience with open-source products and developer communities.Has effectively adopted new tools and AI to enhance productivity, efficiency and growthBackground in growth marketing or analytics.Familiarity with feature flagging, remote config, or CI/CD tooling.Prior experience in bootstrapped or developer-first companies.Experience hosting or producing podcasts, webinars, or community content.Why Join Flagsmith?Shape the marketing and growth engine at a foundational stage.100% remote team — work where you’re most effectiveJoin a small, profitable, fast-growing company with strong product-market fitDeeply technical product, loved by engineers worldwideAutonomy and ownership from Day 1Competitive compensation and equity
