Your role will focus on building robust pipelines, optimizing performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data quality and governance. Your responsibilities will include: Design and optimize data pipelinesfor cleaning, integrating, and transforming large datasets.Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructureusing Azure services like Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake Storage.Create dimensional data models and data warehousesto support reporting and business intelligence.Write efficient Python, SQL, and Py Spark code, ensuring scalability and high performance. Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholdersto deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions.What You'll NeedWe’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented data engineer passionate about building scalable, cloud-based data solutions. Ideally, you bring:3+ years of experiencedesigning and maintaining data pipelines in a software engineering environment.Strong knowledge ofsoftware engineering best practicessuch as OOP, TDD, CI/CD, and version control.Proven expertise inPy Spark and SQL, including query optimization and understanding Spark internals.Hands-on experience withAzure serviceslike Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Dev Ops, and Data Lake Storage.Solid understanding ofdimensional data modelingand data warehousing principles.Excellentproblem-solving and analytical skills, combined with strong communication abilities.Fluent inSpanish and English.Familiarity withcontainerization toolssuch as Kubernetes and Docker; experience with Kafka is aplus.What to Expect:Your personal and professional growth is important to us, and we offer a range of benefits and opportunities to support your journey.
