DeustoTech offers an exceptional opportunity for predoctoral researchers interested in the field of energy performance of buildings and built environments. We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our research team focused on the development and implementation of Blockchain technologies and Data Spaces in the energy sector. The successful candidate will be part of a cutting-edge project aimed at exploring how blockchain networks can be leveraged to enhance data management, security, and efficiency in energy distribution systems.
Title of the project to be incorporated: Urban Adaptation and Alert Solutions for a TIMEly (re)Action (RETIME)

Endowment of the contract: Contract will be made on a yearly basis, renewed for up to 24 months.

RequirementsQualifications required:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Blockchain technology, including consensus algorithms, smart contracts, and distributed ledger technologies.
- Familiarity with data management and security concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
