Shape the backbone of a global cloud infrastructure at enterprise scale. Our international client is on the lookout for a Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer with SQL knowledge. This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation, passionate team that’s reimagining how modern cloud platforms operate across the enterprise. You’ll be joining a highly skilled engineering team responsible for building and maintaining one of Europe’s most advanced Azure environments - at scale, with automation, security, and performance at its core. If you thrive on solving complex cloud challenges and want to shape the future in the enterprise scale, keep reading Design, develop, maintain and optimize robust and scalable IT platforms, with a focus on cloud (mainly Azure) services , to meet business needs and performance standards. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using terraform Review and improve code written by other team members to ensure best practices and performance standards. Develop and maintain PowerShell for automation, Azure modules and error handling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements. Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure Data and MS-SQL technologies + services and best practices, advising on their implementation. Strong technical knowledge in Terraform and Azure Services incl. Azure Synapse. Skilled in Bash and PowerShell scripting, with solid understanding of JSON and YAML . Exposure to Python , networking , and security hardening is a plus. Experience with Git , Azure DevOps , or GitHub Actions for version control and automation. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
