The Business Development department is responsible for identifying growth opportunities for the company and plays a pivotal role in executing the company’s strategy and growth Growth occurs organically (e.g., regional or platform expansion, IP collaboration) and non-organically through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), publishing, or other external partnerships that support the business. The department monitors industry benchmarks and trends, providing executives with valuable insight. Responsibilities Manage Platform Relationship: Oversee business and technical relations with mobile, PC, and emerging platforms (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play) to ensure optimal positioning and support for Plarium's games. Drive Promotions: Collaborate with platforms and studios to secure opportunities such as promotional features, editorial coverage, special campaigns, and strategic Go -To-Market launches. Identify Opportunities: Lead initiatives leveraging platform technologies for discovery, new monetization, and regional expansion; manage execution. Support Studios & Games: Provide support to studios throughout the entire game lifecycle: conception, global launch, and live service. Ensure Compliance: Guarantee games meet all platform requirements, best practices, policies, guidelines, and technical standards. Monitor Performance: Track game performance on platforms, offering optimization feedback for discoverability, ranking, and user acquisition. Negotiate Partnerships: Secure favorable terms for promotions, exclusive deals, and co-marketing with new and existing platform partners. Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and competitive landscape; proactively update stakeholders.
