We are Concord EU We help optimize leading North American and European businesses through expertly developed products based on artificial intelligence, cloud applications, and well-designed user experiences. Our Concord EU teams digitize traditional businesses and help launch new digital business models. Role Overview We are seeking an experiencedDesign System Designerto drive the evolution, adoption, and governance of our client’s design system. This is a highly specialized, hands-on role focused on designing for, enhancing, extending, and operationalizing amature design system -not defining end-to-end product experiences or high-level system architecture. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the design system scales effectively (including emerging patterns such as AI-driven interfaces) while remaining consistent, accessible, and easy to adopt across teams. This role is distinct from a general UX strategist or systems designer. The emphasis is onUI systems craftsmanship , component quality, tokens, and documentation.Responsibilities Own, maintain, and evolve design system libraries in Figma with a focus on scalability and quality Design, refine, and extend UI components, patterns, and variants, including AI-related interaction patterns Define, maintain, and implement design tokens (Token Studio or similar tools) Partner closely with developers to ensure strong component-to-code alignment Create and maintain clear documentation and usage guidelines Ensure consistent usage of the design system across product teams Embed accessibility best practices by default Continuously improve clarity, usability, and maintainability of the systemQualifications Required Skills & ExperienceStrong background in UI design and enterprise-scale design systems Advanced proficiency in Figma (libraries, variants, auto-layout, component architecture) Hands-on experience with design tokens (Token Studio preferred) Deep understanding of component-based UI design Experience supporting multi-platform ecosystems (web, mobile, specialized interfaces) Familiarity with React-based or similar development workflows Experience working in large, distributed teams with strong governance needs Domain & Workflow Understanding Strong hands-on UI design skills beyond traditional UX Experience in complex or regulated environments (clinical, laboratory, scientific, etc.) is a strong advantage Ability to translate real-world physical workflows into precise digital interfaces Comfort working at the intersection of physical processes and digital systems Self-Direction & Collaboration Comfortable in detail-oriented, highly focused roles Able to enforce standards while remaining pragmatic Proactive in identifying gaps and opportunities for system evolution Confident switching between hands-on work and alignment discussions Strong ownership mindset and collaborative communication style Additional Tasks Audit existing products and guide migration to the design system Benchmark against leading industry design systems Contribute to release notes and internal communication Support measurement and reporting on system adoption and quality Advocate for design system thinking and UI consistencyIf you believe your profile matches the requirements, please apply with yourCV in English .
