This is seasonal position and advertised for future openings.Experience you will need:~ Certified sommelier or successfully completed equivalent of WSET, Level 3 would be preferable ~ Solid knowledge of French and New World wines (South American and North American wines in particular would be advantageous) ~ Attention to detail with good customer service ~ A team player, pro-active with a can-do attitude ~ Ability to work under pressure ~ Good command and understanding of English and Spanish with the ability to communicate confidently ~ Committed to personal development and a passion for working with people ~ Compose wine list to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, profit, prestige and trade recognition in line with the current trends ~ Creating, maintaining and developing wine stocks, wine sales and wine lists according to the company direction ~·Strive to meet target cost of sales and ensure that all employees are aware of the targets in the wine department, including the monthly sales target. ~ Review and analyse sales to ensure stock rotation and profitability remains within targets. Rectify any stock issues, justify both external and internal transfers, wastages and price differences ~ Source wines and establish strong relationships with key wine suppliers and to managed them effectively ~ To manage all wine administration so that all is well organized and up-to-date and the account is cleared.We take care of our people by: Providing a competitive salary.
