We’re now moving from early adopters to fast-growth, and we’re hiring our first full-stack engineer to join the founding team.This is not a “join and maintain tasks” role. This is a founding-team engineering seat. Your work will define the architecture, scalability, reliability, and user experience of the entire product.Why this role matters? You will be thecore architect of Kincode’s user experience— visual, structural, conversational, and emotional.You’ll design:The marketing site that tells our story The Kincode platform used daily by managers and employees The interface and personality of KAI, our AI agent A cohesive design system that unifies everythingThis is not “create screens and assets.” This isfoundational product & brand design.You will shape how companies understand their culture, how employees interact with AI on a daily basis, and how KAI becomes a trusted companion in the workplace.What you'll own 1. Marketing Experience (kincode.ai) Lead the UX and UI for our marketing site (structure, flows, conversion). Collaborate on brand storytelling, visuals, and narrative. Create landing pages for new features, product launches, and campaigns. Ensure a cohesive look & feel aligned with our brand values.2. Product & Platform Experience Own the UX of the entire Kincode platform. Define product flows, dashboards, reporting views, recognition & pulse journeys. Turn complex people analytics & AI insights into simple, intuitive interfaces. Collaborate directly with engineering and product leadership.3. KAI - The Culture Copilot Experience Define the personality, tone, and interaction model of KAI. Design the conversational UX across Slack, Teams, Google Chat, and web. Create frameworks for how KAI communicates, teaches, informs, and guides. Shape the experience of proactive insights, in-app AI micro-actions, and smart nudges.4. Design System Build and maintain theKincode Design Systemin Figma. Components, tokens, patterns, guidelines, adaptive layouts. Ensure consistency across marketing, product, and AI touchpoints.5. Cross-functional collaboration Work hand-in-hand with the founding team (CEO, COO, Engineering). Participate in product strategy, roadmap decisions, and user research. Set UX standards and help scale the design function as the company grows.What we're looking for Must-haves: 4+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design. Strong experience designing end-to-end SaaS or platform products. High proficiency withFigma, design systems, prototyping, UX flows. Ability to turn complex data into simple, elegant interfaces. Experience in user research, usability testing, and rapid iteration. Strong visual taste, attention to detail, and high-quality execution. Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers and product teams. Startup mindset: ownership, speed, and a hands-on approach.Nice-to-haves: Experience designing for AI products or conversational interfaces. Experience in multi-channel UX (Slack, Teams, mobile, desktop). Experience with brand design, marketing visuals, or storytelling. Motion design or microinteractions.
