For its Madrid based office, our client, an international Financial Services structure, is currently looking for a:Junior Accountant - experience in a Fiduciary or Financial Services environment (m/f)Responsibilities (but not limited to)Accounting, reporting, and preparing and issuing invoices for several companies.Bank reconciliations, preparation and submission of tax returns and SII, and preparation and review of annual accounts.Preparing all types of accounts, payments, cash flow statements, reports, financial statements, cash positions, and tax positions for client companies.Preparing regulatory reports for third parties.Bookkeeping, including accounting entries and related supporting documentation.Assisting with audits by providing the required information.Obtaining accounting information for tax filings and preparing tax submission files for the STA.Supporting clients with financial reporting, including periodic balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and annual accounts.ProfileIdeally minimum of 1 year of working experience managing a client portfolio as well as full accounting lifecycle experience within the Spanish framework.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Proficient level of English (B1/B2/C1) to communicate fluently with clients. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects or tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure. A proactive approach to daily tasks and a strong team-oriented attitude. Interest in working with different cultures.
