Here, you’ll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.About the role The mission of Peripheral Interventions is to deliver minimally invasive therapies for peripheral artery disease, venous disease, and cancer. The division in EMEA comprises over 300 professionals across sales, marketing, and clinical specialties, supported by critical functions including Finance, HR, Health Economics and Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Medical Education.This role will drive business expansion and portfolio growth across the Southern Cluster (Spain, Portugal, and Italy), leading a high-performing team inspired by improving patient outcomes and determined to grow market share through innovative technologies.The Business Unit Director will lead the strategic planning and execution of marketing and sales efforts in alignment with EMEA franchise priorities. This role has full P&L accountability for approximately $80M in revenue and leads a team of ~80 (including direct employees, sales agents, and distributors). The role includes four direct reports:PI Business Unit Manager, IberiaVascular National Sales Manager, ItalyInterventional Oncology & Embolization National Sales Manager, ItalyEKOS Cluster Business Development ManagerReporting to the VP of Peripheral Interventions EMEA, this position is a key member of the EMEA PI Leadership Team.Your responsibilities will includeManage the P&L of the Peripheral Interventions division in the Southern ClusterAlign with EMEA franchise strategies for Vascular and Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IO&E)Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to accelerate growth and elevate business performanceEnsure excellence in commercial execution, including expense management to meet objectives within budgetDrive adoption of account tiering strategies and optimize sales execution and productivityAttract and hire top talent, foster a winning culture aligned with BSC values, and invest in continuous team developmentPromote marketing excellence through coherent planning and execution to increase market share and support new technology adoptionMaintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders; shape negotiation strategies for economically constrained environmentsMonitor industry and competitive dynamics, proactively preparing the organization to respond and adaptQualifications Required qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent requiredMinimum of 10 years' experience in sales and marketing, including significant senior leadership experienceDemonstrated success in leading and developing sales teams at a national or divisional levelProven experience working in matrixed, cross-cultural environmentsStrong analytical and financial acumenProven ability to influence Key Opinion Leaders and senior stakeholdersFluency in EnglishPreferred qualifications:MBA degreeMedical device or healthcare industry experienceCompetencies and behaviorsCharismatic leadership with the ability to inspire teamsStrong people management and coaching skillsInfluential communicator across all organizational levelsAgile and effective in fast-paced, competitive environmentsStrategic thinker with an innovative mindsetResults-oriented and committed to excellenceWilling and able to travel as requiredRequisition ID:623493As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most – united by a deep caring for human life.
