We are a global firm with over 50,000 planning, design, engineering, and construction professionals.Job Description Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.We are currently recruiting a Junior Engineer to join our busy and expanding team.ResponsibilitiesWork autonomously on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC within established procedures and practices related to bridges and structures.Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.Perform structural engineering work in accordance with agreed‑upon budget and schedule with little supervision.Perform a self‑check of work products prior to submitting to others and participate in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff.Prepare project deliverables that are reviewed by senior team members.Provide guidance to entry‑level engineers.QualificationsExperience working on bridges and/or structures designs (+2 years).Experience with major international regulations and standards (e.g., AASTHO, AREMA, Australian Codes, British Standards).Skilled in engineering calculation software for bridge and structures (preferable Midas Civil, but others such as CSiBridge, SAP2000 are well considered).Experience working in the North America region will be considered favorably.Fluent in English (oral and written).Preferred QualificationsMaster degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.Additional Information At AECOM, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.
