We are looking for an Accounts Receivable and Collections Analyst to join the Finance team
As an AR & Collections analyst, you will work with internal and external customers to ensure that billing, cash collection and application are handled in a timely and appropriate manner. This team member will be responsible for performing a hands-on role in responding to customer invoicing inquiries, maintaining customer relations, and enforcing processes for cash receipts, invoicing and collections.
What you will do...
- Perform daily cash application and direct debit runs. Matching outstanding invoices with incoming payments.
- Own a portfolio of 1000+ customers with bank transfer/manual SEPA payment method. Manage AR end-to-end process from billing, cash collection, cash application, and disputes resolution for the portfolio assigned.
- Manage failed Auto Sepa payments and Credit Card customer issues.
- Manage customers' credit limit utilization for their portfolio.
- Use all available channels - phone, email to collect the outstanding invoices.
- Liaise and communicate with internal departments (Customer Service / Sales / Finance / Tax) as required to resolve outstanding queries and keep a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Perform daily accounts reconciliation.
- Respond to customer queries through accounting email, Zendesk tickets as well as phone.
- Manage correction of invoices. Credit customer refunds and repost trips onto new invoice profiles in line with standard process.
- Prepare monthly KPIs and contribute to the preparation of month-end reporting.
- Liaise with the product team to improve the in-house ERP system and resolve any bugs that may arise.
- Use your AR expertise to improve processes within the team.
- Perform portfolio reconciliation for external audit purposes.
- Use BI (Looker) to build necessary dashboards for tracking AR balances.

- Mathematical and logical deduction skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people and possess adequate negotiation skills.
- Experience with customer service, client, and internal stakeholder communication.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
