Our international client is on the lookout for a Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer with SQL knowledge. You’ll be joining a highly skilled engineering team responsible for building and maintaining one of Europe’s most advanced Azure environments - at scale, with automation, security, and performance at its core.If you thrive on solving complex cloud challenges and want to shape the future in the enterprise scale, keep readingDesign, develop, maintain and optimize robust and scalable IT platforms, with a focus on cloud(mainly Azure) services, to meet business needs and performance standards. Implement and manageCI/CD pipelines using terraform Review and improve code written by other team members to ensure best practices and performance standards. Develop and maintain PowerShell for automation, Azure modules and error handling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements. Stay up-to-date with the latestAzure Data and MS-SQL technologies+ services and best practices, advising on their implementation.Strong technical knowledge inTerraform and Azure Services incl. Azure Synapse. Skilled inBashandPowerShellscripting, with solid understanding ofJSONandYAML. Exposure toPython,networking, andsecurity hardeningis a plus. Experience withGit,Azure DevOps, orGitHub Actionsfor version control and automation. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.Join aglobal-scale engineering teamthat designs infrastructure used by millions. Hybrid working modelwith 2/3 days per week in the beautiful office in the centre of Barcelona or Madrid.
