Brand and Communications Lead

At ING Hubs Spain we are looking for a Communications LeadWe are looking for a talented and enthusiasticCommunications Leadto join ourbrand new Hubs Spain.Communications Lead is a senior role that works cross-border, cross-discipline and cross-business to drive awareness and excitement for the ING strategy. The role holder must hold experience within corporate communications, media relations and/or reputation management in an (international) organisation with a large diversity of stakeholders. They should be versatile and proactive, with proven project and stakeholder management expertise, including at Executive Committee/Management Team level and across markets.Communications planning: Create and implement internal and/or external communications and positioning plans, including a regular measurement and review cycle. This can include media, CSR or employer branding campaigns. End-to-end responsibility for the activation and execution of ING Hubs Spain communications planning, including project management, budget management and elements such as production, publishing and partnering. Determine the best way to deliver components of the plan, including content creation (self, team, agency), evaluate and measure for impact. Stakeholder management: Contribute to the structured approach towards internal stakeholders including management/board members, all business lines and support functions, colleagues in ING’s Comms, Brand & MarCom global network. Connect with members of the Hubs Communications teams in other locations and contribute to the goals of the broader Global communications teams. Also connect and align when needed with members of Bank Spain Communications team. Take a leadership role within the communications team, drive team collaboration to strengthen internal narrative and external reputation, and activate and engage around key events.These are some of the qualities that we value the most for this role. A degree-level qualification, preferably in Communication or Marketing ~10+ years of total experience in a comparable role in an (international) organisation with a large diversity of stakeholders, including vast experience in communications and reporting. ~ Stakeholder management and advisory skills: you can build connections and maintain relationships with important stakeholders up to and including board level. Project management: You are experienced in executing a project plan within time and budget. ~ Communication tools: Good knowledge, understanding and experience in managing key internal and external tools such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, Stream, Spotler, and LinkedIn or a willingness to learn fast and master new skills.Keeping both our customers and our colleagues needs in mind, you determine together which days you work at home and which you come to ING MAD to offer your best self.
