Galtea is seeking aStaff AI Engineerto lead the technical vision and development of next-generation AI Safety features within our innovative platform. This is a senior, hands-on Individual Contributor (IC) role for someone who thrives on translating cutting-edge LLM evaluation research into a robust, scalable, and user-centric commercial product. You will be the technical authority for our core AI systems, driving both research and product development.Galtea is building theQuality Assurance stack for AI products. We work with leading companies to make AI productsmeasurable, trustworthy, and ready for production.We are seeking an expert, high-impact individual to join us in defining the future of AI quality and tackling the complex technical challenges ahead.As a Staff AI Engineer, you will be the chief technical owner of Galtea’s core AI services. You will take ownership of the application architecture, evangelize software development and LLMOps best practices, and guide the rest of the team by example. Architect and champion robust LLMOps & DevOps practicesto enable agile, high-quality product iteration. Technical Mentorship:Act as a "force multiplier" by mentoring junior and mid-level engineers through in-depth code reviews, architectural design sessions, and setting a high bar for technical excellence.6+ yearsof professional experience in building, deploying, and scaling complex software products, withat least 3 yearsof proven experience inMachine Learning(specifically Deep Learning) based products and a strong command of the modern Generative AI stack. ~ LLM Expertise:Deep, hands-on industry experience across thefull LLM lifecycle, including fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic systems, and production-grade performance evaluation. ~ This includes mastery of Python, ML frameworks, and deep learning architectures. ~ Expertise in MLOps/LLMOps/DevOps, including deploying, monitoring, and maintaining robust AI solutions at scale. ~ Technical Depth:Experience with the Generative AI tech stack, including but not limited to knowledge graphs, vector databases, LLM workflow orchestration, observability, evaluation. ~ Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or a related field (PhD preferred).
